EU Funding

If you are an English language teacher, teaching in Europe, you may be able to apply to the European Union for a grant of up to 1700 euros to attend any of the following courses:

• 4-Week TESOL
• Part-time TESOL
• Advanced Teaching Skills

The grant is awarded under the EU Comenius and Sócrates initiative to cover tuition, accommodation and travel.

Who is eligible?

If you’re teaching in any of the following countries you may be eligible:

EU Countries

Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom.

EFTA / EEA

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway

Associated countries in Central & Eastern Europe

Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey

How to apply for funding

• Select which TEFL Lab London course you wish to attend
• Contact your National Agency for a Comenius Application Form, fill it and return it.
• Bring along a copy of the Comenius Application Form when you come for your interview at TEFL Lab London (or fax it or post it if you’re not attending an interview).
